The Western (2018), takes the form of an eight-channel video installation, where participants in Wyoming, Colorado, California, New York, and Nova Scotia are cast as archetypal characters from Civil War Era Westerns.

On one wall of the installation seven interviews play simultaneously.  In these interviews I ask the same questions of each participant.  On the opposing wall a “movie” shows the slow and calculated construction of these iconic portraits, with an original score.
