SEVEN is a multi-media installation featuring a photographic series built from unlicensed concrete replicas of Disney's seven dwarves placed in isolated American landscapes. Each still image has a corresponding time-based media component, which valorizes the over-determined character’s struggle in a post 9/11 atmosphere of fear and control.

The installation is a working space suggesting a situation room, with media on laptops facing a wall of seven photographs, and the experience is organized through a database detailing the physical and geographical aspects of an investigation.

In a Southern Gothic spirit, the viewer navigates tales of courage, anxiety, humiliation, and resignation through rural landscapes with original music, spoken text, radio intercepts and news broadcasts—identifying with both pursuer and pursued.
